Mother Blessing Ceremony

Service Description

This ceremony has been adapted from the more traditional blessingway, a Navajo ritual created to spiritually support and empower the new mother for her journey of birthing and motherhood. It is a wonderful way to gather your circle of women to hold you as you prepare to cross the birth portal and to move into your next chapter of your life as a woman.  Each ceremony is bespoke and may include: ~ sharing circle of blessings, ~ sacred singing, ~ foot/hand massage, ~ belly painting, ~ making a necklace or bracelet for the mother-to-be to wear during labour, ~ releasing fears ritual, ~ joining ceremony (tying of coloured string around wrists), ~ food for postpartum recovery. Beautiful online ceremonies can also be arranged and have been super popular during lockdown. Please note that the price includes all the preparation and me liaising with your circle of women, once you have provided me with a contact list, so you can just relax and look forward to your special day!
